The beam under this table is incorporated into the tabletop and connects to the leg pairs so that the underneath of the table is the most interesting part of the table. To me the care of areas were we normally do not see that often is a trademark of a proud crafts man and that’s what ARIAKE is all about, the craftsman’s pride of a fantastic job done.
テーブル下に見える「梁」は天板と一体化し脚部へと繋がる。そのためテーブル下の構造はこの作品の中で一番面白い所である。この見えない部分への作り込みは、伝統工芸が伝える職人の心意気を表す。まさにそれがARIAKE の全てであり手をかけた職人の粋である。
